Pretty flowers, beautiful crops and fruit bearing trees all have something in common....Pollinators such as Bees!  Our bbes are in trouble around the world due to pesticides, climate change and disease but you can help by doing 3 of the following service projects to help our friends the pollinators:

1. Research and plant a pesticide free garden of (native) vegetables, fruit and flowers to provide nectar and pollen for our pollinators who in return give us the pollinated fruit, trees/leaves for fresh air/oxygen and beautiful flowers

2. Researcdh how honey is made, visit a bee farm/bee keeper and help harvest honey with a bee keeper

3. Volunteer or help care for a community garden or a senior citizens garden in your neighborhood or at one of our GSCI Camps this year!

4. Visit a farmers market or local orchard and help support locally grown fruit, flowers and vegetables that our very own bbes helped create

5. Build pollinator homes for carpenter bees (see pinterest bug homes or bee homes for DIY examples)
