Isle Royale is a hidden jewel of the national park system in the middle of Lake Superior close to the Canadian border. It is an island of moose, wolves, foxes, otters, eagles, loons and more waiting for you to explore its 100 miles of woodlands, rocky ridge lines, pine bogs, lake shore and backcountry campsites away from wi-fi, television, cellphones and any mechanized vehicles but for the occasional fishing boat. Beautiful scenery, wild berries to much on along the trail while searching for signs of moose and falling to sleep in your tent to the song of the loon await you and your fellow wilderness explorers this summer.
