Malala Yousafzai is known for standing up to the Taliban as a young girl in Pakistan because she demanded that girls should be allowed to get an education. For her activism, she received the Nobel Peace Prize in 2014 and wrote a bestselling book about her story called “I am Malala.” Today, she advocates for the right to an education for all girls all over the world.
