After a brief review of the information that was covered in previous levels, further your equestrian knowledge by understanding the importance of rider etiquette, effective communication and proper tack care. Regarding tack, get introduced to English riding for one day, learning how it is similar to Western, yet requires a different set of skills for both horse and rider. Back in your Western saddle, utilize mounted exercises to practice horsemanship. Finally, head out onto the trails to test your newly acquired abilities. Don't forget to have fun while splashing around at the pool and creating colorful tie-dye.
This is part of the Progressive Equestrian Camp program, allowing campers to hone in on various skills and responsibilities year after year while continuing with riders that are similar in riding knowledge and experience.
Completion of Level 3: Yearling or approval from the Equestrian Manager is required.
